People that have purchased full panels from SuperSIPs and wish to resize them for their build.
Depending on thickness, a standard rip saw is not man enough for the job, you have to cut through the 11mm OSB on one side and then turn it over and do the same on the other. You must use a hand saw to cut through the foam as using anything motorised can create toxic fumes which must not be inhaled (do not use a hot knife).
Circular saw fin method
This method is where you mark and cut the OSB and cut right through the top OSB sheet, the foam and the opposite OSB sheet, where you will end up with a flush cut of OSB and foam. You will them need to remove approx 50mm of foam to create the recess.
Use your circular saw set to a depth of 50mm and crate longitudinal cuts spacing each cut by approx 5mm. This will create a set of lines which are then easy to remove with a scraper or knife tool or something similar.
